[:es]En el marco de su programa Internet Segura, VTR realizó en octubre las charlas educativas con mayor asistencia del año con 600 alumnos cada una. La primera de ellas se realizó ante el grupo de brigadistas escolares de la Región Metropolitana en la Escuela de Carabineros y la segunda en el Colegio Bicentenario República del Brasil de Concepción, sumando más de 1.200 alumnos entre 5to y 8vo básico. Las charlas buscan hacer reflexionar a niños y profesores sobre los riesgos que existen en Internet, además de educar sobre usos y riesgos de aplicaciones como Snapchat, red social que destruye los mensajes una vez que fueron vistos y que cuenta con gran popularidad entre estudiantes. Según datos arrojados por el último estudio de Internet Segura realizado por VTR, los adolescentes comparten material sugerente en redes sociales (14% de encuestados masculinos declaró tomarse fotos provocadoras, mientras que en las mujeres sólo hubo 6% de afirmación).

Desde 2008, VTR Internet Segura ha realizado charlas a más de 45.000 estudiantes en todo el país sobre seguridad en la red.[:en]As part of its initiative ‘Safe Internet’ (Internet Segura), in October VTR held the most attended educational discussions of the year, with over 600 students participating in each one. The first of the two sessions was held for a group of cadets from the Metropolitan Region in the Carabinero School, while the second took place in the Bicentenario República del Brasil School in Concepcion. The 1,200 students who attended both sessions were aged between 10 and 13 years old. The aim of the discussions is to help the children and their teachers reflect on the risks posed by the internet, as well as to educate them on the uses and threats from applications such as Snapchat, the social network that deletes posted messages once they have been seen and which is highly popular among students. According to data from the most recent Safe Internet study compiled by VTR, adolescents share suggestive material on social media as follows: 14% of boys surveyed stated that they had taken and shared provocative photos, compared to 6% of girls.
