El 25 de julio se realizóun taller de apoyo en AmCham para empresas interesadas en participar en la XI versión del Premio al Buen Ciudadano Empresarial. Los participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de interiorizarse más respecto a las bases de la competencia y de resolver sus dudas.

Entre los participantes del taller estuvieron Javier Irarrázaval, presidente del Comité de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial de AmCham, y Maia Seeger junto con Eric Latorre de SustentaRSE, empresa consultora que asesora a AmCham y define la metodología y bases del premio.

Pueden postular al premio empresas que tengan programas de inversión social y/o socio-ambiental orientados al desarrollo de la comunidad. Hay dos categorías: Grandes Empresas y Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas (Pymes), con galardones en las menciones de Asociatividad, Innovación y Medio Ambiente. Las postulaciones se recibirán hasta el 23 de agosto y el 25 de octubre será la premiación en el Hotel
Sheraton.

On July 25, a workshop was held at AmCham for companies interested in participating in the 11thversion of the Good Corporate Citizenship Awards. Members had the opportunity to learn more about the rules of the competition and ask questions.

The participants in the workshop included Javier Irarrázaval, chair of AmCham’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, and Maia Seeger and Eric Latorre of SustentaRSE, a consulting firm that advised AmCham on the methodology for the awards.

Companies with social and/or environmental programs focused on community development can apply. There are two main awards categories: Large Enterprises, and Small and Medium Size-Enterprises (SMEs), with separate prizes for Community Participation, Innovation and the Environment. Applications will be received until August 23 and the awards will be announced on October 25 at the Hotel Sheraton.
