[:es]En un encuentro organizado por AmCham y la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Chile, representantes de diversas empresas y organizaciones socias
de la Cámara -3M, Pfizer, Carey, UPS, UC Davis Chile y Metlife, entre otras- dialogaron sobre las percepciones y alcances del Acuerdo Transpacífico de Cooperación Económica (TPP por sus siglas en inglés).

En la actividad, presidida por la líder del Partido Demócrata de la Cámara de Representantes de los EE.UU., Nancy Pelosi, se analizaron ámbitos vinculados a los beneficios comerciales del acuerdo, el acceso a nuevos mercados, el posicionamiento de Chile en la región y a nivel mundial, y en la necesidad de acelerar la etapa final de este acuerdo en el Congreso de Estados Unidos. También se abordó la enseñanza del TPP en la ciudadanía como uno de los desafíos que se requieren para la difusión de este tratado.[:en]During an event organized by AmCham Chile and the US Embassy in Chile, representatives from diverse member companies and organizations of the Chamber, including 3M, Pfizer, Carey, UPS, UC Davis Chile and MetLife, among others, discussed perceptions on and reaches of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP).

Present at the meeting was Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Leader of the US House of Representatives. Participants analyzed areas relating to the commercial benefits of the agreement, access to new markets, the position of Chile in the region and on the world stage, and for the need to accelerate the final stage of the agreement in the US Congress. The event also addressed the need to educate the public about the TPP and highlighted this as one of the main challenges required to promote greater understanding of the treaty itself.[:]
