El 9 de octubre, AmCham celebró un seminario sobre las implicancias de la reciente reforma tributaria tanto para las empresas que invierten en el país como para las empresas locales que invierten en el extranjero. Los oradores incluyeron a: Julio Pereira, director del Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII); Miguel Zamora, coordinador de políticas tributarias del Ministerio de Hacienda; Carlos Muñoz, socio líder del grupo de tributación bancaria y financiera de Tax & Legal de Deloitte y presidente del directorio del Instituto Chileno de Derecho Tributario; y Hugo Hurtado, director del área internacional de Tax de Deloitte.

On October 9, AmCham hosted a seminar on the implications of Chile’s recent tax reform both for companies investing in the country and for local companies that invest abroad. The speakers included: Julio Pereira, director of the Internal Revenue Service (SII); Miguel Zamora, coordinator of tax policy at the Ministry of Finance; Carlos Muñoz, leader of the banking and financial taxation group at Deloitte Tax & Legal and chairman of the board of the Chilean Institute of Tax Law; and Hugo Hurtado, director of the International Tax Area of Deloitte.
