Luego que todos los equipos se enfrentaran entre ellos en julio, los cuatro semifinalistas del concurso Gran Debate Corporativo 2011 organizado por AmCham están listos. Wal-Mart se enfrentará a DHL en la primera semifinal el 3 de agosto sobre el argumento: "El Gobierno chileno debería hacer todos los esfuerzos para proteger los derechos de propiedad intelectual de empresas nacionales e internacionales sobre productos farmacéuticos vendidos en Chile".

En la segunda semifinal, el equipo de la Dirección General de Relaciones Económicas Internacionales se enfrentará al de Kimberley Clark sobre la hipótesis: " Debería declararse ilegal el fumar tabaco en Chile".

La final del concurso se realizará el 10 de agosto en las oficinas del diario El Mercurio en Santiago.

After the round robin stage in July, the four semi-finalists in the 2011 Great Corporate Debate organized by AmCham are set. Wal-Mart will debate DHL in the first semi-final on August 3 with the moot: "All efforts should be made by the Chilean government to protect the intellectual property rights of local and foreign companies for pharmaceutical products sold in Chile."

In the second semi-final, Direcon will take on the team from Kimberley Clark with the moot "Smoking tobacco should be made illegal in Chile." The final will be held on August 10 at El Mercurio’s office in Santiago.
