La reunión Business Future of the Americas 2010 se llevará a cabo entre el 21 y el 24 de junio en Lima, Perú, en paralelo a la reunión de mitad de año de la Asociación de Cámaras Americanas de Comercio en América Latina y el Caribe (AACCLA). La reunión se concentrará en la facilitación del comercio en la región, la promoción de las inversiones y el respaldo a las pequeñas y medianas empresas exportadoras, entre otros temas.

Los oradores del evento incluyen a Álvaro Uribe, presidente de Colombia; Gary Locke, secretario de Comercio de Estados Unidos; Porfirio Lobo, presidente de Honduras; Juan José Daboub, director gerente del Banco Mundial; Antoni Estevadeordal, gerente de integración y comercio del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo; Felipe Larraín, ministro de Hacienda de Chile; Alicia Bárcena, secretaria ejecutiva de la Cepal; Peter Van Loan, ministro de Comercio Internacional de Canadá, entre otras autoridades de Gobierno y ejecutivos.

The 2010 Business Future of the Americas meeting will be held on June 21-24 in Lima, Peru, in parallel with the mid-year meeting of the Association of North American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA). The meeting will focus on facilitating trade in the region, promoting investments, and supporting small and mid-size exporters amongst other issues.

Speakers will include Álvaro Uribe, President of Colombia; Gary Locke, U.S. Secretary of Commerce; Porfirio Lobo, President of Honduras; Juan José Daboub, Managing Director, World Bank; Antoni Estevadeordal, Manager, Integration and Trade Sector, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB); Felipe Larraín, Finance Minister of Chile; Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC); and Peter Van Loan, Canada's International Trade Minister, amongst other government officials and executives.
