Pamela Camus, Country Director for American Airlines Chile, started her carrier in the airline business in Chile, working in different department within Eastern Airlines, until she reached the Sales Manager position.  In 1990, American Airlines took over the Eastern Airlines routes in Latin American, and she was ratified in the position as Sales Manager for American Airlines-Chile.  In 1993 she was appointed Country Director.  Ms. Camus studied Journalism at the Universidad Catolica in Santiago and finished her studies at the University of Texas in Arlington in 1978. In 2002, she obtained an MBA in Professional Management at the University of Miami.  Ms. Camus is the Vice President of the Board of Aerosan S.A. and Aerosan Airport Services S.A., Director of AmCham, Vice President of the Chilean Airlines Association – ACHILA, Director of the Prince of Wales Country Club in Santiago, member of the Business Women’s Association (Mujeres Empresarias) and Comunidad Mujer.  Until 1999, she was part of the Chilean Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.  She has been recognized within the “100 Chilean Women Leaders” for 5th year in a row in December 2006.  She is one of the only 13 women who have received this award every year since its creation.
