[:es]Carlson Wagonlit designó a Kurt Ekert como presidente y director ejecutivo de la firma. Fue vicepresidente ejecutivo y director comercial de Travelport. Durante más de cinco años en ese cargo, la empresa transformó su oferta de productos y su propuesta de valor en todos los canales clave. En los nueve años anteriores a esta posición, lideró otros puestos ejecutivos en Travelport, incluida la dirección operativa de GTA, la marca con sede en Europa. Furthermore, it experienced constant growth which culminated in a successful initial public offering. He also occupied a number of other executive roles at Travelport for nine years prior to this role, including as COO of GTA, which is based in Europe. Before joining Travelport, he worked for six years at Continental Airlines. Kurt has a science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. He sits on the Board of Directors of Passur Aerospace, is an advisor to Freebird and has previously served on the Board of eNett International.[:]
