He also occupied a number of other executive roles at Travelport for nine years prior to this role, including as COO of GTA, which is based in Europe. Before joining Travelport, he worked for six years at Continental Airlines. Kurt has a science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. He sits on the Board of Directors of Passur Aerospace, is an advisor to Freebird and has previously served on the Board of eNett International.[:]
