Over 100,000 new jobs and service exports worth some US$5 billion could be the result over the next five years if Chile takes the decision to position itself as a services and offshoring platform. That was one of the conclusions reached by AmCham president, Mateo Budinich, in his presentation at the seminar “Chile and the New Offshoring Industry: How to Take Advantage of the Opportunity?” organized recently by the government’s Economic Development Agency (CORFO) and Fundación Chile.
