Three AmCham companies - VTR, Banco de Chile, and Coca-Cola - have recently been admitted to the Marketing Hall of Fame, established in 1993 by the New York American Marketing Association. VTR, a leading Chilean cable television and telecommunications operator, was admitted in the category of Current Brand, while Banco de Chile, the country’s second largest bank, was admitted as a Classic Brand, and Coca-Cola as a Global Brand. “This is the first time that MHF Chile has included a global brand such as Coca-Cola in its awards,” noted Héctor Hermosilla, president of MHF Chile.
