El director de la Dirección General de Relaciones Económicas Internacionales (Direcon), Andrés Rebolledo, fue el invitado especial a un desayuno organizado por el Comité de Innovación y Propiedad Intelectual de la Cámara Chileno Norteamericana de Comercio. El encuentro se centró en comentar el estado de las negociaciones del Acuerdo Trans-Pacífico, conocido como TPP por sus siglas en inglés.

Ante la presencia de representantes de diversas empresas, Andrés Rebolledo profundizó sobre los elementos claves en torno al TPP, siendo uno de ellos la transparencia. También se refirió a ámbitos que aún se están debatiendo y que se relacionan con el medio ambiente, inversiones, propiedad intelectual y las patentes de nuevos medicamentos, entre otros.

The Director of the General Directorate for International Economic Affairs (Direcon), Andrés Rebolledo, was the special guest at a recent breakfast meeting organized by the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce's Innovation and Intellectual Property Committee. The event provided an insight into the current state of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) negotiations.

Before an audience of representatives from a number of different companies, Andrés Rebolledo discussed in detail key elements of the TPP, including the issue of transparency. He also referred to the areas still being debated and others relating to the environment, investment, intellectual property and patents for new medications, among others.
