[:es]Sólo 55% de los ejecutivos que participaron en la encuesta Chile 4.0: Cloud Computing y el futuro de la Productividad, señaló tener un nivel de entendimiento alto respecto de la tecnología de la nube. El estudio realizado por la Fundación Chile y Microsoft, apuntó a conocer la realidad local, con la llegada de lo que ha sido llamada como la Cuarta Revolución Industrial, que hace un uso intensivo de las tecnologías de punta e internet, los servicios en la nube -o cloud computing-, Internet de las Cosas -IoT-, entre otras, que toman relevancia por su relación directa con la productividad de las empresas. Entre los principales resultados del estudio, la principal brecha identificada se relaciona con la importancia que tiene la seguridad y la migración de datos a la nube para los tomadores de decisión (92%) versus el bajo nivel de entendimiento que existe en las organizaciones sobre esta materia (55%). The research undertaken by Fundación Chile and Microsoft aimed to gauge the local reality following the arrival of what has been called the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This so-called revolution refers to the intensive use of advanced technologies and the internet, as well as cloud services (also known as cloud computing), and the Internet of Things, among others. The relevance of this issue stems from its direct relation to business productivity. Among the principal results of this study, the main gap identified relates to the high levels of importance of information security and the migration of data to the cloud for decision makers (92%), compared to the low levels of understanding among the relevant organizations working in the area (55%).
