Ingeniero Civil Eléctrico  de la Universidad de Chile.  Mateo Budinich Diez, ha desempeñado diversos cargos en la Industria de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones. Entre éstas, la Gerencia General de IBM de Chile; en Telefónica CTC como Vicepresidente  de Grandes Empresas  y posteriormente asumió en Telefónica S.A., como Director General de Telefónica Empresas,  la responsabilidad de implementar Telefónica Empresas en Latinoamérica.

A partir del 2004  se incorporó a Fundación Chile, como Gerente del Área de Tecnologías de Información y comunicaciones con la responsabilidad de desarrollar empresas y proyectos innovadores.  Posteriormente fue Presidente Ejecutivo de VTR Globalcom.  Mateo Budinich fue Director de AmCham en 1999. Actualmente  es  director ejecutivo de INSAPE.
President of the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) betweenJanuary 2007-January 2009, Mr. Budinich is a civil engineer that has experience in executive positions in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Mr. Budinich was CEO of IBM Chile; Vice-president of Large Accounts at Telefónica CTC and later named Executive Director of Telefónica Empresas Americas. In 2004 he joined the Information & Technology's area of Fundación Chile, being responsible for business development and innovative projects

 

He is currently a  Executive Director  of INSAPE,  an investment firm for development of innovative projects in Technology.

 

Mateo Budinich has been a very active member of AmCham Chile. He was first elected director in 1999, a position he returned to in 2005 when he served as Executive President of VTR.
