En la actividad, el director nacional de aduanas, Juan Araya, se refirió a la labor que desempeña el servicio de aduanas, incluyendo la interoperabilidad del sistema de ventanilla única, infraestructura estratégica, labor del operador económico autorizado, certificación y ventajas, legislación aduanera, fortalecimiento de la fiscalización y exportación de servicio. Además, analizó el Sistema Integrado de Comercio Exterior (SICEX) y cómo éste simplificará los trámites para las exportaciones de servicios.[:en]AmCham Chile’s Trade Committee has staged a roundtable meeting entitled, Customs and System Integration of Foreign Trade. During the meeting, the Director of the National Customs Service, Juan Araya, discussed a number of areas related to the work carried out by the Service, including the interoperability of the single-window system; strategic infrastructure; the work of the Authorized Economic Operator program; certification and its related benefits; legislation regarding Customs; strengthening regulation; and service export. Araya also addressed the Integrated System of Foreign Trade (SICEX) and how this will simplify the processing of service exports.[:]
