[:es]Con la colaboración de la Embajada de Estados Unidos y asesorado por expertos del Smithsonian Institute, el Instituto Chileno Norteamericano de Santiago dará inicio al proyecto de modernización de sus espacios. El objetivo es proveer a la comunidad con ambientes innovadores y dinámicos, en los que se puede explorar la diversidad del idioma inglés, la ciencia, la tecnología y la cultura en todos sus aspectos. La adecuación de sus espacios interiores comprende principalmente un centro de información con diversas tecnologías y formas de acceder a ésta, área de lectura y estudios, un espacio para la innovación y trabajo colaborativo, una zona que permitirá exhibir obras y realizar exposiciones denominado Art Street y The Steps, así como la implementación de un espacio multiuso estilo anfiteatro que será el punto de encuentro y de desarrollo de actividades artísticas y académicas.[:en]With collaboration from the United States Embassy and advice from experts from the Smithsonian Institute, the Chilean-North American Institute of Santiago will soon begin a project to modernize its facilities across the city. The aim of the initiative is to provide the local community with innovative and dynamic environments in which students can fully explore the diversity of the English language, science, technology and culture in all their distinctive forms. The upgrading of its interior spaces consists primarily of installing an information center with distinct technologies and different ways in which to access the various platforms available. In addition, there will be new areas for reading and studying, innovation and collaborative work, an exhibition space for shows and presentations called Art Street and The Steps, as well as a multiuse section in the style of an amphitheater that will act as the meeting point and main part of the Institute used for artistic and academic activities.[:]
