El 4 de abril, Ernst & Young y El Mercurio anunciaron a los ganadores de los premios empresariales 2012 en su sexta Gala Empresarial anual celebrada en Casa Piedra.

Jorge Pacheco, fundador de la compañía de logística marítima Oxxean, recibió el premio al Emprendedor del Año. Juan Eduardo Errázuriz, presidente de Sigdo Koppers, recibió el premio al Empresario del Año, y Thomas Keller, presidente ejecutivo de Codelco, fue nombrado Ejecutivo del Año. La Gala Empresarial es la premiación más importante del círculo empresarial de Chile.

On April 4, Ernst & Young and El Mercurio announced the winners of the 2012 business awards at their sixth annual Gala Empresarial held at Casa Piedra.

Jorge Pacheco, founder of maritime logistics company Oxxean, won the Entrepreneur of the Year award. Juan Eduardo Errázuriz, president of Sigdo Koppers, won the Businessperson of the Year award, and Thomas Keller, executive president of Codelco, was named Executive of the Year. The Gala Empresarial is the Chilean business community’s most important awards ceremony.
