En mayo, se dio inicio al Gran Debate Corporativo 2011 con un desayuno organizado por AmCham y el diario El Mercurio para los jueces de la quinta versión del torneo anual de debate interempresas.

Los equipos que participan este año representan a Kimberly Clark, 3M, Walmart, DHL, Pepsico y Recycla además de dos equipos del sector público, el del Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII) y el de la Dirección General de Relaciones Económicas Internacionales (Direcon) del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, que ganó la competencia del 2010.

El primer debate se celebró el 20 de junio y la final está prevista para el 10 de agosto. El jurado de este año está compuesto por Álvaro Fischer, Vitorio Corbo, Juan Carlos Délano, Sergio Bitar, Karen Poniachik y Javier Irarrázaval.

The Great Corporate Debate 2011 got underway in May with a breakfast organized by AmCham and newspaper El Mercurio for the judges of the fifth version of the annual inter-company debating tournament.

The teams participating this year represent Kimberly Clark, 3M, Walmart, DHL, Pepsico and Recycla as well as two teams from the public sector - the Internal Revenue Service (SII) and the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s department of international trade, Direcon, which won the competition in 2010.

The first debate was held on June 20 and the final is on August 10. This year’s panel of judges includes Alvaro Fischer, Vitorio Corbo, Juan Carlos Délano, Sergio Bitar, Karen Poniachik and Javier Irarrázaval.
