En septiembre, Marriott International anunció sus planes de abrir su primer Hotel Courtyard by Marriott en Santiago en el cuarto trimestre del 2014 en virtud de un acuerdo con el grupo minorista chileno Falabella.

Ubicado al lado del ya existente Hotel Marriott Santiago, con 280 habitaciones y cerca del centro comercial Parque Arauco en Las Condes, Courtyard by Marriott ofrecerá fácil acceso a restaurantes, bares y negocios además de una de las mejores vistas de la cordillera de los Andes.

“Dado el excelente rendimiento del Santiago Marriott y el éxito de la marca Courtyard by Marriott en otros países de Latinoamérica, estamos seguros que este hotel tendrá éxito”, dijo Carlo Solari, vicepresidente de Falabella, la mayor minorista de Sudamérica con operaciones en Chile, Argentina, Perú y Colombia.

Además de 200 habitaciones y suites, el hotel contará con un restaurante informal, 280 metros cuadrados de salones para reuniones y varios espacios recreativos, entre ellos una piscina y un gimnasio.

In September, Marriott International announced plans to open a new Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Santiago in the fourth quarter of 2014, under an agreement with Chile’s Falabella retail group.

Located adjacent to the existing 280-room Santiago Marriott near the Parque Arauco shopping mall in Las Condes, the Courtyard will offer easy access to restaurants, bars and shops as well as some of the best views of the Andes Mountains.

“With the performance of the Marriott Santiago, as well as the success of the Courtyard by Marriott hotels in other Latin American markets, we are confident that this hotel will do very well” said Carlo Solari, vice president of Falabella, the largest retailer in South America with operations in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia.

In addition to 200 rooms and suites, the hotel will feature a casual dining restaurant, 3,000 square feet of meeting space and recreational facilities include a swimming pool and a fitness center.
