El 1 de octubre, Viña Concha y Toro entregó su primer Reporte de Sustentabilidad en un desayuno realizado en el Hotel Hyatt. Valentina Lira, subgerente desarrollo sustentable de Concha y Toro, presentó el informe a los medios de comunicación y otros invitados.

Este reporte fue preparado según la metodología Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Sus contenidos fueron divididos en seis pilares estratégicos: producto, clientes, cadena de abastecimiento, personas, sociedad y medio ambiente. Estos fueron definidos considerando las opiniones de distintos grupos de interés, incluidos proveedores, asociaciones de la industria vitivinícola y representantes de los trabajadores.

“Cada pilar cuenta con objetivos definidos que nos permitirán evaluar y avanzar planificadamente, ya que entendemos que la sustentabilidad es un camino de permanente revisión y mejora con el que la viña ha sellado un compromiso”, señaló el presidente de la compañía, Alfonso Larraín. El informe está disponible como aplicación para iPad y iPhone en App Store.

On October 1, Viña Concha y Toro launched its first ever Sustainability Report at a breakfast at the Hyatt Hotel. Valentina Lira, assistant manager of sustainable development for the winery, presented the report to media and other guests.

This report was prepared under the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) methodology. Its contents are divided into six strategic pillars: Product, Customers, Supply Chain, People, Society and the Environment. These were defined considering the opinions of different stakeholders including suppliers, wine industry associations and employees’ representatives.

“Each pillar has defined objectives which allows us to evaluate and plan our next steps, because we understand sustainability is a path of permanent change and improvement,” said the company’s president, Alfonso Larraín. The report is available as an application for iPad and iPhone in the App Store.
