COMMERCE DEPARTMENT TO HELP SHOWCASE U.S. COMPANIES AT Trade One 2009

20 Agosto 2009
U. S. companies interested in developing new business contacts at an important regional event in Chile covering the expanding economy in the South America region should consider participating at Trade One 2009 held November 4-6, 2009, in Santiago, Chile.

"Chile is a US export success story.  We have had a free trade agreement in place for five years.  In 2008, the USA sold more to Chile than it purchased from Chile, making Chile one of the countries with which the US has a positive trade surplus".

The U.S. Department of Commerce has granted Trade One 2009 Trade Fair Certification status, establishing a U.S. Pavilion that welcomes U.S. firms of all sizes.  Trade Fair Certification assures that U.S. exhibitors at Trade One 2009 will have U.S. Commercial Service support in both the United States and Chile.

Trade One 2009 is a regional trade show focused on promoting the food manufactures supply industry  as well as products and services from specialized food service providers.  This exposition is divided into five specialized pavilions where leading industries will promote their supply and services. At Trade One 2009 several U.S. exhibitors could be on the show floor selling into this market.

The US Pavilion organizers are offering a wide variety of participation packages to match every marketing need while staying within every marketing budget.  Participation options with the "Showcase USA" display range from custom-built exhibit areas, through to shell-scheme booths, mini booths, informational kiosks; and DVD, poster and catalog display areas.  US companies can also benefit through the commercial sponsorship program Kallman Worldwide has created that includes extensive high-profile branding and valuable exposure before, during, and after the event this November.

In certifying Trade One 2009, the Department of Commerce recognizes the capability and exhibition experience of the organizers of the U.S. pavilion, Kallman Worldwide, Inc. and the potential of this international market to benefit from U.S. products and services. The Trade Fair Certification Program is a cooperative arrangement between private sector trade show organizers and the U.S. Government.  The program seeks to broaden the base of U.S. exporters, particularly new-to-export and new-to-market firms, by introducing them to key trade fairs where they can meet their export objectives.

The U.S. Commercial Service helps U.S. businesses, particularly small and mid-sized companies establish international business relationships.  The agency's global network includes 107 U.S. and over 140 foreign offices.  For more information on the U.S. Commercial Service, please visit www.export.gov.
