La innovación como estrategia y factor clave en el modelo económico chino fue el principal contenido analizado por el Dean School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship de la Universidad de Pekín, Dongmin Chen, durante la realización de la mesa redonda “Relación entre innovación, emprendimiento y propiedad intelectual en una economía globalizada”. El académico expuso sobre las transformaciones de los últimos 30 años del sistema económico de China, además de la relación integral entre gobierno y universidades, situación que ha facilitado la aplicación de un sistema educacional enfocado en la innovación y el emprendimiento.

La segunda exposición del encuentro estuvo a cargo del presidente de Crystal Lagoons y director de AmCham, Fernando Fischmann, quien a través de la trayectoria de su compañía mostró la relevancia de la innovación en el emprendimiento. Asimismo, adelantó cómo aplicará la tecnología de las lagunas artificiales en el proceso de enfriamiento de agua para centrales termoeléctricas.

Innovation, as both a strategy and a key factor within the Chinese economic model, was the main issue raised by the academic, Dongmin Chen, during the roundtable “The relationship between innovation, entrepreneurship and intellectual property in a globalized economy”. Chen, Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Peking University, spoke about the transformations within the Chinese economic system over the last 30 years, as well as the integral relationship between government and universities. This situation, he explained, has facilitated the application of an education system focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.

The second presentation of the roundtable was given by the President of Crystal Lagoons and AmCham Chile Director, Fernando Fischmann. By explaining the trajectory of his company in recent years, Fischmann demonstrated the importance of innovation in entrepreneurship. Likewise, he discussed how Crystal Lagoons will be applying its artificial lagoon technology to the process of cooling water for thermoelectric power plants.
