[:es]Socios de AmCham participaron en la Mesa Redonda: Nueva Institucionalidad y Estrategia de Promoción de la Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED), encuentro organizado por el Comité de Inversiones de AmCham Chile y cuyo expositor principal fue el director de InvestChile, Carlos Álvarez. En la actividad se hizo un análisis del Chile de hoy, además de sus principales desafíos en materia de inversiones. Lo anterior, al considerar que el Índice de Competitividad Global 2015-2016, publicado por el Foro Económico Mundial, posiciona a Chile en el primer lugar en América Latina.

El director de InvestChile profundizó en la hoja de ruta de la nueva agencia y en cómo se implementará la nueva estrategia nacional de fomento y promoción de la Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED).[:en]Members of AmCham Chile have taken part in the roundtable meeting entitled, New Institutions and Promotional Strategies for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The event was organized by the Investment Committee of AmCham Chile and the main speaker was Director of InvestChile, Carlos Álvarez. During the meeting, participants analyzed the current state of Chile today and addressed its main challenges related to investment. Discussions took place within the context of the Global Competitiveness Report 2015-2016, published by the World Economic Forum, in which Chile was ranked first in Latin America. During the event, the Director of InvestChile discussed in detail the objectives of the new agency and explained how it will implement the new national strategy for developing and promoting FDI in the country.[:]
