El 3 de septiembre, la consejera comercial de la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Chile, Ellen Lenny-Pessagno, dictó una charla en AmCham sobre cómo invertir en Estados Unidos.

Lenny-Pessagno se refirió a la Cumbre de Inversión SelectUSA 2013, iniciativa del gobierno estadounidense para facilitar la inversión de empresas extranjeras en Estados Unidos, la que se realizará en Washington DC el 31 de octubre y 1 de noviembre.

La presidenta de AmCham, Kathleen Barclay, y cerca de 20 socios asistieron a la charla. Lenny-Pessagno sostuvo que la clave para invertir en Estados Unidos es elegir un estado de acuerdo con los intereses específicos de su empresa. "La cuestión con Estados Unidos es que tdoo está regulado y una vez que uno entiende el sistema, el proceso es muy sencillo”, indicó.

She looked ahead to the SelectUSA 2013 Investment Summit, a US government initiative to facilitate investment by foreign companies in the United States, which will take place in Washington, DC, on October 31 and November 1.
