Estudiantes de la Región Metropolitana participaron en el lanzamiento de FIRST® LEGO® League 2015 (FLL), la competencia juvenil de robótica más grande del país. La actividad se realizó en las oficinas de Bechtel, que por cuarto año consecutivo es socio estratégico para el desarrollo de este campeonato. Los torneos se realizarán en las ciudades de Calama, La Serena, Valparaíso, Santiago, Concepción, Puerto Montt y Punta Arenas a partir de noviembre y la gran final se realizará el 12 de diciembre en Santiago. El gerente general de Bechtel Minería y Metales para las Américas, Paige Wilson, destacó esta alianza estratégica junto a la fundación SparkTalents para el desarrollo de FLL en Chile, sobre todo al considerar que este tipo de programas permite a los niños acercarse a la tecnología de manera lúdica.Students from the Metropolitan Region have taken part in the launch of the 2015 FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL), the biggest robotics competition for young people in the country.
