Banco Itaú Chile obtuvo la certificación LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) del U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) para su nuevo centro de operaciones administrativas de US$ 15 millones en la Ciudad Empresarial de Santiago.

El edificio, cuya inauguración estaba prevista para abril, tiene seis pisos y 5.200 metros cuadrados de espacio de oficinas. Incluirá una sucursal de Banco Itaú en el primer piso con oficinas en planta libre en los pisos superiores diseñadas para facilitar la cooperación y generar sinergias entre los trabajadores.

La edificación está diseñada para ahorrar energía (hasta un 50 por ciento) y agua (hasta un 75 por ciento) en comparación con los edificios tradicionales, al tiempo que proporciona un ambiente de trabajo más saludable y confortable. Además cuenta con un sistema de tratamiento y reciclaje de aguas y residuos.

Banco Itaú Chile has obtained the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for its new US$15 million back office operations center in Santiago’s Ciudad Empresarial business park.

The building, scheduled to open in April, has six floors and 5,200 square meters of office space. It will include a Banco Itaú branch on the first floor with offices in an open plan arrangement on the upper floors designed to facilitate cooperation and generate synergies between workers.

The building is designed to save energy (up to 50 percent) and water (up to 75 percent) compared to traditional buildings, while providing a healthier and more comfortable working environment. It also has a system for the treatment and recycling of water and waste.
