En noviembre, Anglo American y Elige Educar exhibieron el documental chileno “Profes”, dirigido por Sebastián Moreno. La función realizada en Quillota contó con la presencia de autoridades regionales, profesores y ejecutivos de Anglo American.

El documental, filmado en diversos lugares del país, muestra los testimonios de seis profesores que invitan al público a volver a la sala de clases y descubrir junto a ellos el verdadero significado de enseñar y aprender.

“Para Anglo American, mejorar la calidad de la educación es una prioridad. Es por eso que estamos trabajando en alianza con Elige Educar para que a través de iniciativas como este documental, seamos capaces de instalar en el debate público la importancia que tiene la labor de los profesores”, aseveró Roberto Martínez, gerente general de la división El Soldado de Anglo American.

In November Anglo American and the educational organization Elige Educar offered a special screening of the Chilean documentary Profes (Teachers), directed by Sebastián Moreno. The screening, in Quillota, was attended by regional authorities, teachers, and executives from Anglo American.

The documentary, filmed in various locations throughout the country, tells the story of six teachers who invite the audience to return to the classroom and discover with them the true meaning of teaching and learning.

"For Anglo American, improving the quality of education is a priority. That is why we are working with Elige Educar so that through initiatives such as this one we will be able to install the importance of the work done by teachers in the public debate,” said Roberto Martínez, general manager of Anglo American’s El Soldado division.
