AmCham participó en el mayor evento anual de la aviación en América Latina: la Feria Internacional del Aire y el Espacio (FIDAE), celebrada en Santiago entre el 27 de marzo y el 1 de abril.

El director ejecutivo de la Cámara, Rodrigo Ballivián, se reunió con el ministro de Defensa, Andrés Allamand; el embajador de Estados Unidos en Chile, Alejandro Wolff; y el consejero comercial de la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Chile, Mitch Larsen, en el stand de la embajada.

Ballivián dio la bienvenida a las empresas estadounidenses presentes en la feria y enfatizó la misión de la Cámara de promover los negocios entre los dos países. El director ejecutivo de AmCham subrayó el incremento de casi el triple que ha experimentado el comercio bilateral desde la suscripción del Tratado de Libre Comercio (en el 2003) y destacó los acuerdos firmados entre Chile y los estados de California y Massachusetts para facilitar el intercambio de tecnología y las mejores prácticas.

AmCham participated in Latin America’s largest annual aviation event, the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), held in Santiago on March 27-April 1.

Executive Director Rodrigo Ballivián met with Defense Minister Andrés Allamand, US Ambassador Alejandro Wolff and the US Embassy’s Senior Commercial Officer Mitch Larsen at the US Embassy’s stand.

Ballivián welcomed the US companies present at the fair and emphasized the Chamber’s mission to promote business between the two countries. He noted the nearly threefold increase in bilateral trade since the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (in 2003) and highlighted agreements signed between Chile and the states of California and Massachusetts to facilitate the exchange of technology and best practices.
