El 24 de noviembre, Comité Laboral y de Capital Humano de AmCham se reunió para analizar el problema del abuso de las licencias médicas y la próxima legislación sobre esta materia. Los oradores invitados fueron Hernán Doren, presidente de la Asociación de Isapres; el diputado Javier Macaya; y Rodrigo Troncoso, coordinador del Programa Social del Instituto Libertad y Desarrollo, centro de estudios con sede en Santiago.

On November 24, AmCham’s Labor and Human Capital Committee met to discuss the problem of sick leave abuse and forthcoming legislation in this regard. Guest speakers were Hernán Doren, president of the Association of Isapres (Chile’s private health insurers), lawmaker Javier Macaya and Rodrigo Troncoso, coordinator of the Social Program at the Santiago think-tank Instituto Libertad y Desarrollo.
