[:es]Estudiantes de la Escuela de Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile obtuvieron el primer lugar en la decimoprimera versión de Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. El segundo lugar fue para el equipo de la Universidad de Chile. El jurado estuvo integrado por los reconocidos abogados Claudio Grossman, actual agente de Chile ante La Haya por el caso Bolivia; Andrés Jana, de Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana, y Cristián Delpiano, académico de la Universidad Católica del Norte.
El equipo de la Universidad Católica de Chile, además del trofeo, recibió dos pasajes a Estados Unidos para participar en la competencia internacional y un aporte de $4.230.000, monto que fue recaudado en una subasta organizada por AmCham Chile y conducida por la representante regional de Christie’s en Chile, Perú y Ecuador, Denise Ratinoff. En esta actividad también participó como oradora la directora de Fronteras y Límites del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y actual agente ante La Haya para el caso Silala, Ximena Fuentes.

La distinción Best Memorial fue compartida por la Universidad Católica y la Universidad de Chile. También se reconoció a la Universidad Católica de Valparaíso como Spirit of The Jessup, a Martín Álvarez como Runner Up Best Oralist y a Tomás Gothe como Best Oralist, ambos de la Universidad Católica de Chile.[:en]Students from the Faculty of Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile have won first prize at the 11th edition of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Second place went to the team from the Universidad de Chile. The judging panel consisted of recognized lawyers Claudio Grossman, the Chilean representative at The Hague in the ongoing territorial dispute against Bolivia; Andrés Jana, from Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana; and Cristián Delpiano, academic from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Norte.
In addition to the winner’s trophy, the victorious team received two tickets to the United States to participate in the international version of the competition, in addition to CLP4,230,000 which was raised in an auction organized by AmCham Chile and led by Denise Ratinoff, regional representative of Christie’s in Chile, Peru and Ecuador. The duty of master of ceremonies at the competition was undertaken by Ximena Fuentes, director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ unit, Borders and Boundaries (Fronteras y Límites) and the Chilean representative at The Hague in the River Silala case, also against Bolivia.
