[:es]El nuevo Ministro de Energía, Andrés Rebolledo, fue el orador invitado a un CEO Meeting con socios de la Cámara, oportunidad en la que dio a conocer los principales ejes de trabajo de su cartera para este año. Los avances en nuevos marcos regulatorios y el conocimiento de las necesidades de la realidad comunitaria fueron dos focos destacados por el ministro, quien también señaló que el cambio climático no se puede ignorar, ya que éste incidirá en el desarrollo de nuevos proyectos y su sustentabilidad. Para 2017, las metas se focalizarán en el robustecimiento de la calidad del suministro, la promoción de nuevos mecanismos de conectividad con otros países, el cumplimiento de la regulación en proyectos y la necesidad de difundir conocimientos en torno a la energía y sus posibilidades.

During the event, the minister unveiled his main areas of focus for the coming year. Progress in the new regulatory frameworks and awareness of community needs were the two central aspects highlighted by Rebolledo, who also stressed the need not to ignore climate change, since the phenomenon will affect the development and sustainability of all new projects moving forward. For 2017, the minister’s emphasis will be on strengthening the quality of supply, promoting new connection mechanisms with other countries, project compliance with regulations, and the need to disseminate knowledge on energy and all related possibilities in the field.
