El 20 de mayo se realizó el lanzamiento del Comité de Capital Humano en las oficinas de Cisco, evento que tuvo una amplia convocatoria. El orador invitado fue el psicólogo Sergio Melnick, PhD. en Investigación del Futuro de UCLA y máster en Psicología Jungiana de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI), quien se refirió al tema “Guerra o paz entre capital humano y tecnología en el siglo XXI”.

La consejera de AmCham, y presidenta del Comité de Capital Humano, Alejandra Aranda, dio la bienvenida y describió el enfoque del comité para este año.

En su presentación, Melnick se refirió a los desafíos que se abren ante los nuevos desarrollos de la tecnología, y cómo éstas han transformado las formas de trabajo.

On May 20, the Human Capital Committee was launched in the offices of Cisco. Attended by a large number of participants, the event had invited as guest speaker the psychologist Sergio Melnick, who has a PhD in Futures Research from UCLA and a Master’s degree in Jungian Psychology from Adolfo Ibáñez University (UAI). Sergio discussed the issue of “War or peace between human capital and technology in the 21stcentury”.

AmCham advisor and Chair of the Human Capital Committee, Alejandra Aranda, opened the meeting and set out the areas on which the Committee will be focusing this year.

During his presentation, Melnick referred to the challenges arising from new developments in technology and how these have transformed the ways in which people work.
