Los programas "Semana Empresa" e " Innovación en Educación Financiera" de Banco Itaú Chile fueron elegidos por el Centro Regional para América Latina y el Caribe en apoyo al Pacto Mundial de Naciones Unidas para aparecer en la publicación que destaca los mejores proyectos impulsados por el sector privado que ayudan a combatir problemas sociales y ambientales en la región.

La publicación fue presentada en el marco de la Conferencia de Naciones Unidas sobre Desarrollo Sostenible (Río+20), que se realizó entre el 20 y 22 de junio.

Los programas, coordinados por Fundación Itaú, son “representativos de nuestra ‘manera de hacer’, por lo que nos enorgullece que hayan sido elegidos para ejemplificar las mejores prácticas de inversión social privadas en la región”, dijo Boris Buvinic, gerente general de Banco Itaú Chile.

Banco Itaú Chile’s "Business Week" and "Innovation in Financial Education" programs were chosen by the United Nations Global Compact’s Regional Support Center for Latin America and the Caribbean as being among the best business practices that contribute to social development in the region.

Both cases are included in a publication that highlights the best social and environmental projects in the private sector. This document was presented in the framework of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) held on June 20-22.

The programs, coordinated by Fundación Itaú, “are representative of our way of doing things, which is why we are proud to have them picked as examples of the best private social investment initiatives in the region,” said Boris Buvinic, CEO of Banco Itaú Chile.
