IBM Chile nombró a Eduardo Gutiérrez como nuevo gerente general de la compañía en el país. El ejecutivo sucederá a Mauricio Torres, quien asume el cargo de director de estrategia y transformación para IBM Latinoamérica, tras liderar por tres años la operación de IBM Chile. Durante sus más de dos décadas en IBM, Eduardo Gutiérrez ha ocupado una serie de posiciones de liderazgo y estrategia tanto en IBM México, Centroamérica y el Caribe. En su calidad de director comercial de IBM México gestionó la expansión geográfica del negocio en dicho país. Previamente, se desempeñó como director de software de IBM México y Centroamérica, lugar en donde lideró las áreas de Asociados de Negocios, Alianzas y Financiamiento.IBM Chile has named Eduardo Gutiérrez as its new General Manager. He will succeed Mauricio Torres, who, in turn, becomes Director of Strategy and Transformation at IBM Latin America, following three years in charge of Chilean operations. Having spent over two decades at IBM, Gutiérrez has fulfilled a number of leadership and strategic roles at the company, including at IBM Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. As Sales Manager at IBM Mexico, he led the geographic expansion of business throughout the country. He had previously worked as Software Manager at IBM Mexico and Central America, in which he took the lead in the areas of Business Partners, Alliances and Finance.
