El 21 de julio, la presidenta Michelle Bachelet se unió a BancoEstado, el banco estatal de Chile, para celebrar un nuevo hito en el crecimiento del alcance que ha tenido del banco entre las microempresas del país y su impacto en el creciente acceso al crédito y la facilitación del emprendimiento. Hasta abril, el banco tenía más de 300.000 microempresas entre sus clientes, lo que representa una participación del 53,6% del mercado y, además de ofrecer microcréditos, ahora también entrega a estos clientes una serie de otros servicios. “Detrás de estos 300.000 clientes, hay 300.000 historias de esfuerzo y 300.000 sueños hechos realidad”, destacó José Luis Mardones, presidente de BancoEstado.
