El 25 de abril, un grupo de alrededor de 40 empresarios de Seattle, Washington, fueron invitados a AmCham con el fin de informarse sobre las condiciones económicas, políticas y sociales del país con miras a hacer negocios con Chile en el futuro y conocer nuevas estrategias de negocios.
Tanto el presidente de AmCham, Javier Irarrázaval, como su director ejecutivo, Rodrigo Ballivián, asistieron a la reunión. El panel de oradores estuvo compuesto por Kathleen Barclay, miembro del consejo consultivo de AmCham; Gonzalo Fanjul, de Asset Investment Bank; Jackie Mandel, de Korn Ferry International; Skip Kotkins, de Skyway Luggage Company; Delee Schoemaker, de Microsoft; y Sherry Schwab de HCS Construction Services Co.
El panel respondió diversas preguntas del público, en relación a temas como la construcción en Chile, la minería, el sector energético, y los principales productos de exportación del país como el cobre, el vino, la madera, el salmón y la fruta.

On April 25, a group of 40 businesspeople from Seattle, Washington, were invited to AmCham to learn about Chile’s economic, political and social conditions with a view to doing business with Chile in the future and learning new business strategies.
AmCham President Javier Irarrázaval and Executive Director Rodrigo Ballivián both attended the meeting. The panel of speakers was comprised of Kathleen Barclay, a member of AmCham’s advisory committee; Gonzalo Fanjul, Asset Investment Bank; Jackie Mandel, Korn Ferry International; Skip Kotkins, Skyway Luggage Company; Delee Schoemaker, Microsoft, and Sherry Schwab, HCS Construction Services.
The panel answered questions from the visitors in relation to construction, mining, the energy sector and Chile’s main export products such as copper, wine, wood, salmon and fruit.
