[:es]El Consejo Empresarial de Energía Chile-EE.UU. de AmCham Chile y Columbia Global Centers organizaron una mesa redonda con el profesor de Regulación de Energía y Derecho Ambiental de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Columbia, además de Director del Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, Michael B. Gerrard. El académico se refirió a los desafíos de COP21, acuerdo recientemente firmado en 2015 en París, y a los esfuerzos y recursos que se requieren para alcanzarlos en las áreas de energía renovable y eficiencia energética. Otros temas que se abordaron fueron los desafíos y la implementación de políticas medioambientales que deben implementar los países en vías de desarrollo.

Gerrard, Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia Law School from Columbia University, as well as director of the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law. During the event, the scholar discussed the challenges arising from the COP21 agreement signed in Paris in December 2015, including the efforts and resources required to fulfil its objectives in areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Additional issues covered during the roundtable included the challenges facing developing nations in terms of implementing the environmental policies required.
