Un grupo de emprendedores de Silicon Valley se reunió en abril con Fernando Fischmann, presidente ejecutivo de Crystal Lagoons y uno de los directores de AmCham, en el complejo turístico San Alfonso del Mar en la costera localidad chilena de Algarrobo.

Los emprendedores -entre los que figuraba el fundador de MySpace, Uri Levine, y el presidente de Waze, Justin Waldron- viajaron en helicóptero desde Santiago tras solicitar una reunión con Fischmann. El grupo estaba en Chile para participar en el foro de emprendimiento MeetLatam 2013, el que se llevó a cabo del 26 al 27 de abril en la Universidad San Sebastián.

Los visitantes hicieron un tur por el complejo -que fue el primer proyecto de Crystal Lagoons en Chile- y que incluyó su icónica laguna cristalina. Fundada en el 2007, Crystal Lagoons ahora cuenta con más de 220 proyectos en 50 países en distintos estados de desarrollo.

A group of entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley met with Fernando Fischmann, CEO of Crystal Lagoons and an AmCham director, at the San Alfonso del Mar resort in the Chilean coastal city of Algarrobo in April.

The entrepreneurs, including the founder of MySpace, Uri Levine, and the president of Waze, Justin Waldron, flew by helicopter from Santiago after requesting a meeting with Fischmann. They were in Chile to participate in the MeetLatam 2013 entrpreneurship forum, which took place on April 26-27 at the University of San Sebastián.

The visitors got a tour of the resort, which was Crystal Lagoons’ first project in Chile, including its iconic crystalline lagoon. Founded in 2007, Crystal Lagoons has over 220 projects in development in 50 countries.
