El economista chileno Felipe Kast, miembro del jurado de la versión 2012 de los Premios al Buen Ciudadano Empresarial de AmCham, será el orador en la ceremonia de premiación que se celebrará el 17 de octubre en el Hotel Sheraton.

El proceso de postulación de la versión 2012 de los Premios al Buen Ciudadano Empresarial de AmCham cerró con la recepción 39 postulaciones, incluidas cuatro de pequeñas y medianas empresas.

Kast fue ministro de Planificación y Desarrollo Social (Mideplan) del Gobierno del presidente de Sebastián Piñera y en la actualidad es Delegado Presidencial para la Reconstrucción del Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo, rol creado tras el terremoto del 27 de febrero de 2010.

Felipe Kast will be the special guest speaker at the 2012 AmCham Good Corporate Citizenship Awards ceremony to be held on October 17 at the Hotel Sheraton.

Kast, who is a judge for this year’s awards, is the Presidential Delegate for Reconstruction in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, a role created after the earthquake of February 27 2010. He previously served as Minister of Planning and Social Affairs in the government of President Sebastián Piñera.

The application process for the 2012 version of AmCham’s Good Corporate Citizenship Awards closed with 39 applications received, including six from small and medium-size companies.
