[:es]AmCham Chile junto a la Asociación de Generadoras de Chile, ACERA, realizó un encuentro con el académico y experto en energía Daniel Kammen, reconocido profesor de energía y recursos naturales de la Goldman School of Public Policy y del Departamento de Ingeniería Nuclear, además de director del Renewable and Appropriate Energy Lab (RAEL) de la Universidad de Berkeley. En el encuentro, en el que participaron socios de AmCham, se analizó el rol de las energías renovables no convencionales (ERNC), las nuevas tecnologías de almacenamiento y las iniciativas en cambio climático en la elaboración de escenarios energéticos futuros, entre otros temas.

Las áreas de expertise de Daniel Kammen incluyen cambio climático, ingeniería, medio ambiente, energías renovables y prospectiva.[:en]In conjunction with the Chilean Association of Generators and the Renewable Energy Association (ACERA), AmCham Chile has staged a meeting with Daniel Kammen, the renowned energy expert and Professor in the Energy and the Natural Resources Group at the Goldman School of Public Policy, and the Department of Nuclear Energy, as well as Director at the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Lab (RAEL) at the University of California, Berkeley. During the meeting, in which a number of AmCham Chile members took part, Kammen evaluated the role of non-conventional renewable energy (NCRE), new storage technology, and climate change initiatives in developing future energy scenarios, among other issues.
