El 17 de agosto, AmCham celebró un encuentro entre el equipo de la Universidad de Los Andes que ganó la ronda chilena del torneo internacional de debate para estudiantes de derecho Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition y alumnos de Escuelas de Derecho de todo el país interesados en conocer la competencia.

El equipo de la Universidad de Los Andes se refirió a su experiencia en la competencia incluida su preparación y participación tanto en la etapa en Chile como en la ronda internacional, donde llegaron a cuartos de final entre un total de 105 equipos de todo el mundo.

AmCham organiza anualmente la ronda chilena de la competencia con el objetivo de alentar a los jóvenes a practicar su inglés y sus habilidades de oratoria.

On August 17, AmCham hosted a meeting between the Universidad de Los Andes team that won the Chilean round of the international debating tournament for law school students, known as the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and law school students from around the country who were interested in learning about the competition.

The Universidad de Los Andes team spoke about their experience in the competition including their preparation and participation both in the Chile stage and in the international stage where they reached the quarter finals out of 105 teams from around the world.

AmCham organizes the Chilean stage of the competition annually with the aim of encouraging young people to practice their English and public speaking skills.
