[:es]El Consejo Empresarial de Energía Chile-EE.UU. de AmCham Chile organizó la mesa redonda Realidad y Futuro del gas natural en Chile, encuentro que tuvo por finalidad intercambiar opiniones sobre la realidad de esta fuente energética a nivel global, las exportaciones de LNG de estados Unidos y las principales oportunidades y desafíos para la integración del gas en Chile, tanto desde la perspectiva del mercado de generación de electricidad como del mercado de distribución de este recurso. Participaron en calidad de expositores el gerente general de ENAP, Marcelo Tokman; el gerente general de Duke Energy, Diego Hollweck, y el gerente general de Metrogas, Víctor Turpaud.[:en]The Chile-U.S. Energy Business Council of AmCham Chile has organized a roundtable event entitled, The Present and Future State of Natural Gas in Chile. The aim of this meeting was to exchange ideas on the current status of this energy source around the world, as well as U.S. exports of liquefied natural gas, and the main opportunities and challenges for the incorporation of gas in Chile, from the perspective of both the electricity generation market, and the gas distribution market.
