On October 23, AmCham hosted a panel discussion on the political and economic implications of the upcoming U.S. election. The panelists were Robert Funk, deputy director of the Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Chile; Dalibor Eterovic, chief economist at Grupo Security; Fernando Reyes, director of the Center for Latin American Studies on China and coordinator of international relations forums for Andres Bello University, and Arturo Fermandois, former Chilean Ambassador to the U.S. The panel was moderated by Karen Poniachik, director of the Columbia University Global Center for Latin America, based in Chile, and an AmCham director.
