El homenaje, realizado en una ceremonia conjunta con la Municipalidad de Quinta Normal y la Fundación Casa de la Paz, contó con la presencia del Ministro del Medio Ambiente, Pablo Badenier. En la ocasión se entregó un reconocimiento a 16 recicladores pertenecientes al Movimiento Nacional de Recicladores de Chile y a la Asociación de Recicladores Organizados para el Futuro de esa comuna, quienes integran el proyecto Reciclaje Inclusivo Comunal, del cual BASF es activo participante.[:en]The promotion of best environmental practices across its distinct production units is a priority for the chemical manufacturer, BASF. Accordingly, the company has staged a ceremony in conjunction with the Municipality of Quinta Normal and the Chilean NGO, Fundación de la Paz, to acknowledge the efforts of a group of recyclers in a ceremony attended by the Minister of the Environment, Pablo Badenier. During the event, recognition was paid to 16 recyclers from the Chilean National Recycling Movement and Organized Recyclers for the Future Association, from the same municipality.
