En el marco de la celebración de los 30 años de la Teletón, Banco de Chile donó un modero laboratorio de marcha al Instituto Teletón de Concepción, la segunda instalación de este tipo en Chile y la primera en Concepción. La donación fue posible gracias al respaldo de 60.000 clientes del banco que optaron por recibir sus cartolas por correo electrónico en lugar de en papel. El laboratorio ayudará al instituto a entregar un servicio de salud de alta calidad a pacientes de las ciudades del sur de Chile.

Celebrating 30 years of Chile’s annual telethon, Banco de Chile presented the Instituto Teletón de Concepción with a modern biomechanics laboratory, the second such facility in Chile and the first in Concepción. The donation was made possible with the support of 60,000 of the bank’s clients who switched from paper statements to e-mail. The lab, which analyzes motor control problems associated with neuromuscular disorders, will help the institute provide a higher quality health service to patients in southern Chilean cities.
