La Asociación Americana de Arbitraje (AAA) nombró al reconocido abogado Gonzalo Biggs, del estudio Figueroa Valenzuela y Cía Abogados, para un tercer período como director de la organización. La calidad profesional de Gonzalo Biggs ha sido destacada en varias oportunidades por la AAA, organismo del que ha sido director y miembro activo por más de ocho años. El abogado fue asesor jurídico del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) en Washington y miembro del directorio de AmCham Chile. Actualmente, es árbitro de los Centros de Arbitraje y Mediación de las Cámaras de Comercio de Santiago y Brasil-Canadá de Sao Paulo y conciliador del Centro Internacional de Arreglo de Diferencias Relativas a Inversiones (CIADI) del Banco Mundial.The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has selected the prominent lawyer, Gonzalo Biggs, from the firm Figueroa Valenzuela y Cía Abogados, for a third term as organizational Director. The professional prowess of Biggs has been highlighted on numerous occasions by the AAA, at which he has been Director and an active members for over eight years. The lawyer has worked as legal advisor to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington D.C. and as member of the board at AmCham Chile. Currently, he is Arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Centers of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce and the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce of Sao Paulo, as well as Arbitrator at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the World Bank.
