El cónsul general de Estados Unidos en Chile, Jeffrey Vick, y la vicecónsul Sarah Clymer, dictaron una charla informativa a los socios de AmCham, sobre el Programa de Exención de Visa o Visa Waiver Program, que entró en vigencia el 31 de marzo pasado.

La directora de AmCham, Pamela Camus, dio la bienvenida a los socios y destacó la importancia del ingreso del país a este programa, ya que con este nuevo paso se está fortaleciendo una integración cultural, gracias a la facilitación del movimiento de las personas.

El cónsul Vick destacó que la incorporación de Chile a este programa, uniéndose a otros 37 países del mundo, es una medida que busca afianzar los lazos bilaterales entre ambas naciones y promover aún más el turismo.

The US Consul General in Chile, Jeffrey Vick, and the Vice Consul Sarah Clymer, gave a talk to AmCham members on the Visa Waiver Program, which came into force on March 31 this year.

AmCham director Pamela Camus welcomed members of the Chamber and highlighted the importance of Chile having joined this Program. The new step, she pointed out, strengthens cultural integration by making the movement of people far easier.

Consul Vick noted that the incorporation of Chile into this Program, whereby it joins 37 other nations, is a measure which seeks to enhance bilateral ties between both countries, as well as further promote tourism.
