La presidenta de AmCham, Kathleen Barclay, y la CEO de WEConnect International, Elizabeth Vazquez, firmaron el 9 de abril un Memorándum de Entendimiento en las oficinas de AmCham, mediante el cual las entidades reconocen el común interés de ambas organizaciones de cooperar en actividades para lograr desarrollar paridad económica y mejorar las oportunidades de negocio para empresas que sean propiedad de mujeres.

WEConnect International es una organización que está orientada a lograr el fortalecimiento de empresas que sean de propiedad de mujeres, con la finalidad de facilitar su acceso a cadenas internacionales, conectarlas con multinacionales que compren sus productos y así ayudarles para tener éxito en los mercados globales.

On April 9, AmCham President Kathleen Barclay and CEO of WEConnect International, Elizabeth Vazquez, signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Chamber’s offices. The agreement is in recognition of the common interest shared by both organizations: to cooperate in efforts which encourage the development of economic parity and improve business opportunities for companies owned by women.

WEConnect International is an organization which seeks to strengthen women-owned businesses, to facilitate their access to international value chains, connect them with multi-nationals to purchase their products and, in the process, help them to become successful in global markets.
