El 27 de octubre, AmCham recibió a una delegación de la Oficina del Representante de Comercio de Estados Unidos (USTR, por su sigla en inglés), cuyos integrantes compartieron durante un almuerzo con directores y miembros de la Cámara. El equipo de la USTR -encabezado por Everett Eissenstat, representante adjunto de Comercio de la USTR para las Américas, compartió sus opiniones acerca de los avances que trajo consigo el tratado de libre comercio en las relaciones entre Chile y Estados Unidos, así como también los avances de Chile en cuanto a la protección de los derechos de propiedad intelectual.

On October 27, AmCham received a delegation from the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) who had lunch with AmCham directors and members. The USTR team, led by Everett Eissenstat, Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for the Americas, shared their opinions about the advances in the relations between Chile and the U.S. brought about by the Free Trade Agreement, as well as Chile’s progress in protecting intellectual property rights.
