[:es]IBM anunci\u00f3 que ha roto el record de patentes de Estados Unidos con 8.088 patentes concedidas a sus inventores en 2016, marcando su liderazgo en innovaci\u00f3n por 24\u00b0 a\u00f1o consecutivo. Las patentes de 2016 de IBM cubren un diverso rango de invenciones en inteligencia artificial, computaci\u00f3n cognitiva, salud cognitiva, cloud<\/em>, ciber<\/em>-seguridad y otras \u00e1reas de crecimiento estrat\u00e9gicas de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n

A nivel global, los m\u00e1s de 8.500 inventores de IBM lograron m\u00e1s de 22 patentes por d\u00eda en 2016, convirtiendo a la compa\u00f1\u00eda en la primera empresa en superar la cifra de 8.000 patentes en un a\u00f1o. Los investigadores, ingenieros\u00a0 y dise\u00f1adores de IBM, generaron m\u00e1s de 2.700 patentes de invenciones relacionadas con inteligencia artificial, computaci\u00f3n cognitiva y cloud<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Los investigadores latinoamericanos tambi\u00e9n han ayudado al posicionamiento de la compa\u00f1\u00eda en dichas innovaciones y hacen parte de este record con un total de 56 patentes, con contribuciones de investigadores de Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Costa Rica y M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n
